Why some CAN and some CAN’T

The one and only reason I can do what I can do, and you can’t do what you can’t do, is because I think that I can and you think that you can’t.
These are the words of a great master in India.
Everytime I hear these words I think of a mind that has no limitations, and is open to everything. That mind can for sure attract miracles.

The funny part is that "the mind" has no limitations...it is only our determination to believe "I am my idea of myself" that limits us. While my mind might be infinite and endless, my idea of "myself" is limited by my fears, doubts, and determination not to be responsible.

So many people think that they must "try" to expand their mind. Their mind is Infinite already, all we truly have to do is stop trying to control it...stop trying to label it...stop trying to understand it. Free your mind...it already knows how to fly.

A Forgetful God

Whoa! So why can't you do what you can't do and I can do what I can do?

Lee, I believe you would have to ask the Indian man who said it first, as Robin was quoting him. Thought you knew that since you wrote "Quote:" before the quote itself...

Robin, very nice interpretation of "you are your own worst enemy." I have found much wisdom through this understanding, yet still struggle daily with defeating my "worldly" self in this regard.

I have found results to my liking by allowing myself to momentarily NOT THINK when emotions begin to control me. It is these fragile, yet profound "demons" that can so easily betray us...
